Romans 6:23 " For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

The Bible here states that the wages (what we have earned) of sin (what we have done) is death (eternal separation from God).

BUT; the gift of God is eternal life. This gift has already been paid for, it already has your name on it, but until you receive the gift you cannot reap the benefits of the gift.

We would like to share with you 3 simple steps to receiving God's free gift of eternal life.

First: You Must ADMIT You are a Sinner

Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

Death is actually separation from God, and ultimately, that means eternal punishment. Man can avoid this eternal punishment called hell, but first he must admit he is a sinner in need of a Saviour.

Second: You Must BELIEVE on Christ as Saviour

Acts 16:31 “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.”

You Must Realize You Cannot Save Yourself.

I John 1:7 “…the blood of Jesus Christ cleanseth us from all sin.”

It is for our sins, yours and mine, that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, left heaven and gave up His life that we can be forgiven. You must believe that Jesus Christ is God’s Son, that He died for you, that He was buried, that He rose again, and that His precious blood has paid the debt of your sins.

Third: You Must CONFESS Your Faith in Christ!

Romans 10:9 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shat be saved.”

Confession involves repentance. Repentance is being sorry for and turning from your sin. Christ invites you to receive Him. Won’t you pray and ask Christ to be your Saviour?

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, please forgive me of my sin, and take me to Heaven when I die. I believe that You died and rose again for me. I am trusting You completely and not in anything that I can do. Thank you Jesus! Amen.

God's free gift.
